SETTING: Takes place at Madeleine's, a store at mall. Taylor searches for an outfit.

ENTER: Taylor, Mom, and Saleswoman.

Open scene

Opens with Taylor admiring a dress while her mother is sitting down reading in a magazine. A saleswoman stands nearby, waiting to help any customers, while standing and keeping an ear on conversations among customers. Other shoppers simply walk around, minding their own business (they provide busy shopping atmosphere).

Taylor:
(twirling dress around, looking with a smile)
"Well... what do you think?"

Mom:
(doesn't look up; still reading)
"I don't know. You tell me."
